e 4382 USA: Retail: I want Blue
Bahia. Delivery location is CA 95423, Phone is: 707-9......
We have found the granite tiles locally, but are unwilling to pay the asking
price ($90/psf), therefore, we are open to better offers from out of the area.
The granite tile will be used on the kitchen countertops. We are currently at
the insulation and drywall stage and anticipate needing the tile in the next 4-8
weeks. The criteria for purchase will be solely based on the best price, since
we are on a tight budget. We need 87 sf of 12x12 blue bahia tiles and according
to remodeling magazines it states we should be able to get for between $18 to
$20/sf. The lowest we have found it so far is from a company in Florida for
approx. $34/sf. Cost to ship from Florida would likely be pretty expensive, so
we would like to see if someone closer to project (California). Oct

Offer 6: I have
this for about 1/3 the price. I import it.
Offer 5: We have Blue Bahia glazed ceramic tile 19"x19"x1/2" it is an exact riproduction of the original Blue Bahia
for kitchen it would be just fine, price is
$16.00 sq.ft.
Offer 4: That material is a extremely dangerous stone to buy sight unseen, it is
also one of the most expensive material to purchase. the prices quoted of $
90.00 per square foot is probably a realistic cost . We have seen misinformation
stated in magazines on many occasion, this is perhaps one of those occasion.Good
Luck!!
We have seen it offered in
the $40/psf range. Thanks for the reply.
Offer 3: Blue Bahia's retail
price at $ 18.00 was prior to 1980. In
California of 2002, Blue Bahia Extra 12x12x3/8 retails at $ 45.00 + tax and up.
It can easily reach the price of $ 90.00 /
sqft when and if the buyer requests from the retailer to select 100
sqft from a palette of 350sqft.
My advice to you and anyone who shops
for exclusive materials such as Azul Bahia is to consult with a stone
expert/specifier
who selects stone
for upscale projects everyday.
Thanks for the
info. We have found someone locally to sell direct to our contractor at
around $46/psf. We need approx. 118 sf. We have consulted with a
stone expert in our area and are simply shopping around for the best
price. Let us know what is the best you can do for us.
Thanks.
