History & Background: We have a long history of mining, cutting, shaping and processing of stone since 1947. By 1988 the company was exporting large quantities to the Russian market with major contracts for city squares in Zagreb and Belgrade. At that time the company held the leading position at the markets of former Yugoslavia, with two plants in Serbia (Nis, Sombor) and one in Sarajevo.

During the recent conflict, although the company facilities and equipment were not greatly damaged, a large number of employees left the company and the equipment became outdated. However, mining and manufacturing have since been restored. In April 1996 the status of the company was brought into the line with Company Law.

The company now has considerable opportunities to build on this recent improved performance through a combination of product and market development and by introducing more efficient equipment, technology and operating methods.

Project References: The company provides stone processing services to the third parties: cutting, polishing, flaming, hammering, sand-blasting and cutting, including installation and assembling of all their own products. The company is exporting products to Slovenia, Macedonia, Serbia, Hungary and Greece. The production and sales revenue have increased over the past two years and management expects this trend to continue.
