We want to make
absolutely sure that you understand that to us selling a few bottles to
customers like yourself is no bother at all. Actually, it is exactly what
we’re planning to do exclusively!
There are several
actions that we have to take in order to make this idea not only possible,
but as much comfortable and convenient for consumers
like you as possible.
Let’s take the
Shipping & Handling charges, for instance. The possible objection
that you wouldn’t be paying them if you could buy our product at a dealer
near you would be very much … nearsighted, to say the least! Products
like our are not available at the grocery store where you go every day;
they are only available at stores (typically tile and marble retail outlets)
where you’d have to go in purpose, just to buy a couple of bottles of
cleaners. Now, the expression of “dealer nearest you” doesn’t necessarily
mean a store that’s right around the corner from you, does it! A recent
(very limited and non scientific, yet meaningful) study we conducted indicates
that the average homeowner lives at least 20 minutes far away from the
“nearest dealer” And that, of course, without counting the possibility
of unfavorable traffic conditions!
Now, no matter
what you do during the day, doesn’t your own time have any value to you?
We’re talking about 40 minutes to an hour of your own time just to buy
a couple of bottle of cleaners! If you add to the mix the mileage on your
vehicle, the risk of a fender-bender, or of a traffic ticket for some
little violation … Well, you do the math!
Besides, do you
really think that you wouldn’t be paying the S.& H. charges if you
go and buy the products at a “dealer near you”? Think again! To the best
of our knowledge, not a single one of our dealers sells at our Suggested
Retail Price (which is the one you’re paying when you buy directly from
us). In the best case scenario they charge at least an extra 50%! So,
where is your “imaginary” saving?
The only real
and indisputable convenience you would enjoy by buying at a “dealer near
you” is the fact that if you need a bottle today
you can drive 20 minutes and get it. We can’t beat that. But …
How often does
it happen that “you need a bottle today”? Well, if you’re like me, more
often than strictly necessary! … But you know what? For certain items
that I
know I can’t get right away (such as special trade tools or materials
that are not available at the hardware store near me) I trained myself
to be a little … organized! Purchasing stuff on line is one such an example.
Let’s face it:
on line commerce is here to stay and to grow. It’s convenient, time saving,
and traffic-related aggravations free! Our lifestyle, which becomes more
and more hectic, will appreciate that more and more as time goes by! And,
if we can’t get the stuff today, well, you can’t get it the next day,
if it’s so urgent! Besides, if we can train ourselves a little bit, we
can make things easy. Here are a few tips:
1.
Create a little inventory of our products. None of them has an
expiration date! Example: You buy 3 bottles of our stone spray cleaner
MB-5. When you open the last one, you place an order for another three
bottles. Even if we’re temporarily out of stock, you’re going to get the
new supply well before you finish the last bottle.
2.
On the basis that, as seen before, none of our products has an
expiration date, “play” smart with the S.& H. charges! We created
an “average rate” system that is good all throughout the contiguous states.
We geared the rates to the value of your order, because the insurance
for ORM-D products (like all cleaning products are) is a significant part
of the total cost. You can take advantage of this feature by filling your
order to the max. Here are is an example: say that you need to buy 1 bottle
of MB-4 Impregnator/Sealer to treat your brand-new granite countertop.
The cost of the product is $37.95. The S.& H. charge for 1 bottle
of that particular product is $9.95. But … it’s $9.95 for orders up to
$49.99! Therefore, if you also buy a bottle of our MB-5 stone spray cleaner,
which you’ll be needing to clean your countertop on a daily basis, you’d
be still paying $9.95 for S.& H.! Moreover, notice this: for orders
between $50 and $99.99 (double the value of the order) the S.& H.
charge would only be a little over 40% more ($14.25). How about the idea
of that little inventory? You buy additional cleaners (you won’t be needing
more impregnator sealer for at least the next 10 years!), maybe even for
your floors, shower-stall, etc. to stay under the $100 mark, and your
S.$ H. charges will turn out to be no more than a couple of dollars each
bottle! Another example: it wouldn’t be “smart” to buy, say, 6 bottle
of MB-1 ($59.70 total)., If you don’t want to buy 10 of them, buy only
5 and save almost 40 cent each bottle!
