  Applications of Granite slabs and tiles

For backsplash area, use granite strips in lengths matching the countertop lengths.

Defective material can be used to lower the cost since hygiene is the main consideration.

Image When granite will be seen from far (e.g. floors, external walls), then material having big crystals looks better.
